Default Soviet and other works on Africa (PDFs)

could you recommend any other (not necessarily soviet/leftist) books or articles about the revolution and communist government in ethiopia? i have an independent study course on east african history in the spring and that was one of the topics i was considering. or if you have anything relating to east africa generally, really. thanks for posting these though, africa is too often neglected.

Last year I typed up a 2001 interview Mengistu did: http://www.soviet-empire.com/ussr/vi...?f=133&t=54380

Besides that, I hear worthwhile books are Transformation and Continuity in Revolutionary Ethiopia by Christopher Clapham (which I own but haven't read yet), The Ethiopian Revolution by Halliday and Molyneaux, The Ethiopian Revolution (same title as last book) by Andargachew Tiruneh, Ethiopia: Empire in Revolution by Marina and David Ottaway, and Revolutionary Ethiopia: From Empire to People's Republic by Edmond J. Keller.
