Yesterday ~100 members of Students for a Democratic Society and the Movement for a Democratic Society decided to take a direct anti-war action and marched on and then occupied the US Military Recruitment Center on Chambers Street in New York City. The occupation forced the military recruitment center to close down for over 2 hours and the building was subsequently surrounded by the FBI and NYPD. 23 individuals have been arrested and are being held for Criminal Trespassing on government property. Most of the students were from Pace University and New School University in Manhattan.
