Hm. Well. Rosa I do not deny that your possibly one of the most educated persons on this board. And I'm sure you are serious about Marxism, but I think your arguments are based on a misunderstanding of dialectics in the first place. I will not even attempt to argue with you; 1) Because my understanding is limited but I can tell you it is not mysticism as Dialectical Materialism ( I would say DiaMat, but I'd sound too much like a Stalinist )
 is aimed among other things, at combating mysticism. 2) I just am way too tired.One day though, when I have a firmer grasp of it, I promise I will face off with you. One more question; have you read Reason in Revolt? I thought the book was brilliant. PS And why can't we post threads about specific people? I put it in philosophy because your theory is about philosophy and I was not going to abstractly start recopying quotes from your essays and asking you to justify them. Whew, thank you Rosa, it would've been a complete travesty for me to have forgotten to add that you're also peculiarly defensive at the slightest notion that anything you say or think may be wrong.
And lest we forget that enormous, time-consuming effort you put into that Mao thread awhile ago. Page after page after page of "mystic" this and "monster" that and "cult" over there and "baby peasant hamburgers" up in the sky. I learned my lesson trying to debate with you about something I didn't understand, but it seems like you're incapable of the same humility. Also a bit manic, if I were to take a guess. Do you have bipolar syndrome by any chance? You act a lot like people I know that do. |
