I think you have done a very good job representing the PSL in the recent thread btw
Ooh, ooh, can I adopt the ideology of rolling tanks over working people? Can I? Can I?
Thank you for your speedy reply, Manic, clear as day. Must confess expected nothing less from a communist.
Couldn't have said it better myself, comrade. I am not really sure what goes through their heads, myself, as I cannot see why anyone would subscribe to such a utopia view of international revolution. They base it on a bad reading of Marx and Lenin, neither of whom said that you should wait around for one big simultaneous world revolution, in fact Lenin argued the opposite. He believe socialist states would lead to a world revolution and he is right. It is easier to direct resources and progression in one country rather than in all countries at the same time. Once enough socialist states are built, the world can then truly become truly international (though I'd say that the idea of a human monoculture - rather than multiculture - is a pipe-dream and would make for boring holidays!). The idea of one massive world revolution is just codswallop and if people think it is possible, they should pack in their revolution.
Thanks. I find it quite sad that many so called leftists would advocate for the Kurds to just sit around and waiting for an international (or at least Turkish) workers movement to just rise up to give them support. Ridiculous for a few reasons. Firstly, the Marxist groups in Turkey do support the idea of Kurdistan and are thus offering supporter. Secondly, forming a socialist state is easier than trying to get the whole world to rise up at the same time. Thirdly, Kurds suffer horrible brutalities and repressions, so it is best that they do not just sit around and wait for workers' revolutions elsewhere.
Keep up the good posting, comrade, especially in the thread relating to Kurdistan. You made better posts than I did.
Just been reading through the thread 'Left Communism V Marxism-Leninism', and I have to say you made one of the best defences of the Cuban revolution I have ever read, also, you totally destroy the notion that Cuba is somehow State-Capitalist. Just out of interest how active are you in the socialist movement?
Thanks for good posts on Libya!
