Hello, Your signature featuring the quote form King Haakon is one that has baffled me for some time. What did he actually mean by proclaiming himself as the 'communists king'?

I know that he was popular (especially for his attitude to the quisling puppet government of the nazi invasion) and have heard that he liked to immerse himself with the public alot.

Also, knowing the two royal families, the norwegien one comes across as alot more humanitarian than the british one. They do not seem to wield their power and rub it in like the British one does.

Also, was he involved in the dissolution of the communist government in the mid 1930s? or was that totally down to the split in the AP?
