aw, thanks!!! <3 Yeah, you'd think being a communist would teach you a thing or two about not trusting the western media when it's slandering ideologies that aren't standard fare in the west. But I guess not?

Honestly, generalizations about Islam have nothing to do with the actions of a few Muslims, no matter how deplorable their actions are. Slander against Islam and the Prophet in the West dates back a thousand years, because it's consistent with the aims of western imperialists; first Catholic, now Protestant and "Secular"/Atheist. Sigh. Thousands of years of geopolitics over huge, huge swathes of the world, nearly a quarter of the world's population, imagined out of existence. They'd be doing it with or without 9/11, or Boston, or whatever action they want to distort and manipulate to suit their imperialistic aims.

The western canon, man, I just cannot abide.

I have no difficulty finding the book online, I could even find a portuguese version. The thing is it might take me a long time to finish reading it, since I usualy begin reading and don't finish. If I join your group now I will not be able to say anything until much time has passed and I have managed to read some pages.
