Hey, there! Thanks for your "thanks" about Cuba. It's pretty funny that your organizational affiliation is "Christian Mingle"! Congrats on having a sense of humor and all the best to you, hot shot! )
Well, I'm pretty shy first of all, and not all that talkative in a group setting so that keeps me from saying much. (I tend to say a lot more on a 1-to-1 basis rather than on a forums.)
That an i'm admittedly only a (forever) layman when it comes to Marxist theory, so I don't often have much to say...
Good refutations, comrade, but I'm of the opinion that Hal Draper isn't as strong a source on Marxist strategy. Lars Lih is a much better one, in emphasizing the role of educated proletarians.
Thanks for the compliment. To be honest I'm a bit hesitant to take to any particular tendency. I used to be one of those "but Leninism isn't real communism!" types but the more I read of his work the more I realize how thoughtless that sort of position is. And then I start realizing that the blatant anti-Lenin folk are the same ones who keep harping on about wishing to obtain some abstract "freedom" without being able to tie the word freedom to any concrete demand.
