PLP only disagrees with the politics of Lenin and Mao that led to the restoration of capitalism. Those policies are called revisionism. PLP is an Anti-Revisionist ML party.

Also, you might be surprised at how many self-proclaimed Maoists in China actually give full-hearted support to Islamists. There is one Maoist guy who is literally calling for the "alliance of the Chinese nation and the Islamic nation against the Anglo-Saxon nation" or some nonsense like that...
