But what actually makes them counter-revolutionary? This is what I find difficult to understand due to my lack of experience in revolutionary left politics.
If you have a moment, I would like to know your stance on Trotskyism and the various parties that exist in the UK which follow this ideology. If it is negative/positive, could you briefly explain why?
I don't know if it's dangerous. Maybe it's that a lot of broken and alienated people are attracted to it. Maybe it's that 'western bourgeois authoritarian psychology' doesn't want us to live free. But everyone I know that's tried it has been broken either before or after.
Not, tried it for the experience; it's a fairly well-known technique in archaeology for instance to try to experience sites in the manner of the people who built them (especially religious sites) - but actually tried to live their lives like this, as I did with my comrades about 17 or 18 years ago. It took a heavy psychological toll. Or that might have been the psychoactive chemicals we were doing at the same time. Or a bit of both.
'Never drink and derive'!!!- When I say check out I meant look at it. I thought it was pretty funny anyway.
This concept is amazing I think. Personally I'm not a fan of doing this kind of thing under the influence, long walks home in the dark, drunk, down scary country roads is not something I enjoy.
Regarding the whole mental breakdown thing, is this a dangerous type of thing to get involved in, in your opinion?
