I suppose a bit of both. I don't agree with entrism now so I guess that's one big factor for me going to CWI.

Are you a member of CWI? I notice you're in the group. I'm actually probably joining CWI once I move and get settled in.

Yeah, that is pretty much the only example There have been plenty of discussions before of course, but the rule seems to be that they're only published after they're over.

This attitude is of course part of the problem. But compared to many other organisations, the CWI is indeed a lot better in many aspects.

Did I get a good response? Well, that depends. For example, at an international summerschool my contribution to the discussion on the topic of the transitional program, which was at the time much less developed but also arguing for democracy, was only replied in the sum up as "burning the bridges" or some such. Then again, I also often got positive feedback from more rank and file members.

We've a long way to go

I have been at occasions. Sadly, the Dutch section is rather small and faces its own limitations. Above that I'm more or less isolated in my region. So, I'm stuck with agitating these points at the occasional Belgian conference or German branch meetings I sometimes frequent.
