Yea I pretty much group democracy fetishism with thinking Stalin was evil and personally killed 20 million people in the same category.

    Nice post here; http://www.revleft.com/vb/why-do-som...ml#post2499342
I can't stand the idealism of some communists these days. "Democracy is the cornerstone of communism/socialism." Sigh. Hahaha

Well do you agree that having consumer markets in socialism is a practical necessity and that complete unionisation (of economic sectors)/socialisation of the wholeeconomy takes a while and that hence worker councils are an economic catastrophe until the economy is socialised?

Just read your post to LeSocialiste. Interesting, i never felt the need to identify with any particular tendency, i still don't really because the only relevant thing to me is an anti-revisionist interpretation of Marxism. What makes you identify with Bordiga? I had a ultra-left tendency the same time as you for a while, but reading about the revolutionary reality in Bavaria 1919 made me see the need for a vanguard, and reading about Lenin's transformation from quite a far-leftism to state-capitalism made me accept the practical problems of immediate economic (and political as well) council-ism and the need for Macnair's point about the need for a communist revolutionary party willing to take over the capitalist economy.

Ah, okay thanks for the advice. I was trying to get an understanding of Bordigism so I'll take your advice and look at the Bordiga Literati group. Maybe one day in the future when I get a better understanding on my views I'll be able to make an informed decision. Thanks for the help

"In Proudhon's system we find individual exchange, the market, and the free will of the buyer and seller exalted above all else. It is asserted that in order to eliminate social injustice, all that is required is to relate every commodity's exchange value to the value of the labour contained within it. Marx shows...that what lies beneath all this is...the preservation, of bourgeois economy; incidentally, there is nothing different in the Stalinist claim that in a Socialist society... the law of exchange of equivalent values will continue to exist." -Amadeo Bordiga

The war in Afghanistan is now considered to be America’s longest war (Hampson). For putting so much money, men, and supplies into the war, the war has had terrible results. There are many questions that arise when viewing the war. Was the war worth the young men and women sacrificed and maimed? Was the war worth the dead civilians and orphans from both sides of the fighting? It seems that the answer to these questions is a sure and resounding...
