Yeah I know the greater Chicago punk scene although not extremely political is anti-racist. I do remember a skinhead punk scene around Mchenry but all music scenes have really vanished around here to my knowledge except for a sketchy metal scene that seems really fishy to me tbh but that's neither here nor there. Latest news article I found were some lake side skin activity in 2003.

Hey, I live in Northern Illinois and was just wondering if you had any info on skinhead activity in this area seeing as you mentioned it in that thread. Is there any anti-fash/left wing presence? I live in a nothern county so I'm curious. Thanks and in solidarity.

it's pretty funny actually. i was just the mod for the old Newswire forum. It was hella inactive though so I just acted like a global mod lol

Yeah, he is weird as hell. I didn't even know Utopian socialists even existed anymore. I thought that was a phenomenon of the 19th century. I think everyone on the forum should just start ignoring him, because debating with him is like talking to a wall.
