Part II: Definitely give Neurosis a try. Their weakest albums are probably their earliest stuff, the punk-crust Amebix rip-off stuff. But they get a lot better as they age. My favorite album is probably Enemy of the Sun. It's just a gigantic, monster of an album. Huge sound topped off with a long tribal drum jam. And if you like Steve's stuff, check out Scott Kelly's stuff as well.

Just one last recommendation: if you're generally into the melancholic folk/country stuff, check out the Dark Americana/No-Depression scene if you haven't already. Off the top of my head, my favorite bands are 16 Horsepower, Tarantella (they only had one album: Esqueletos) and there's a band out of Seattle that doesn't tour at all but they have put out a couple of releases, and their name is Palodine. If you dig that, hopefully that'll start you on a path somewhere.

Part I: Ah, okay. That's close enough then. Yeah, I've got Steve's albums including the Townes Van Zandt split he did with Scott and Wino. I got to see Neurosis here in the States this past February and it was a very cathartic show. One of the best I've ever been to. But I've always wanted to see Steve play his live stuff, but he never toured solo where I lived. Only Scott Kelly, and I've seen him live solo a couple of times.

I just realized I completely misunderstood this sentence:

"The issue with not engaging in the relationship of capital and wage labor is, in my opinion, crucial in thinking about that class since this relationship which is manifest in a very concrete way is crucial to the development of class struggle (these are its basic actors)."

And I completely agree with that now. My bad.

ah, i didn't realise that you were from Croatia until now! I have family (by marriage) in Croatia and I've been a few times and it is a very lovely place indeed. I've only briefly visited Zagreb unfortunately, but I've spent some time in Rijeka and (unsurprisingly for a tourist) Poreč.
