I'd hesitate to call jews a 'race' but the jewish state has the law of return which lets anyone gain israeli nationality who has 1/4 jewish ancestry. Surely this is a 'racial' distinction, being based on ancestral genetics?

It's also similar to what the german nazis used to exclude jews from germany.

He was not so much 'pals' with the zionists, considering his hatred for jews & desire for their wholesale extermination.

However there was collaboration between zionists and nazis because both groups wanted the jews of europe to settle palestine. Some german jews (especially zionist industrialists) were treated rather well by the third reich up to a point because of these common interests.

The zionists in USA pushing hardest for war have expressed their opinion that another US invasion of iraq will lead the way for a "reshaping" of the middle east, to make the regimes there more zionist-friendly. (as well as ethnic cleansing of the arab palestinians)

This will put the people of the west in terrible risk because this could easily become a war of west vs. third world islam.

It looks like a racial or religious holocaust may be on the horizon, which i'm really not looking forward to.

Zionism, in my opinion, is racism; especially against Arab peoples.

The USA needs to stop helping Israel and funding (and fighting) their wars.

Do any of you think that zionism is potentially a peaceful movement?

I sometimes entertain the thought that even racial-based nationalism has its "good" as well as "dark" side.

For example, in israel i think they would run into quite a bit of trouble if they stopped discrminating against arabs. The hatreds built up are simply too deep, they will be extremely difficult to heal. Perhaps if both peoples simply left each other alone things might get more amicable from there?

Why do Jews have to have self-determination? I believe that they are humans just as much as an Asian, Arab or any other 'race' of humanity is human. Why are Jews to be treated specially? And when they do get their own country, they turn around and start committing the same crimes on Arabs as were created on them.

Personally, i think we're better off if racial/ethnic nationalists of any sort secede & live amongst their own peers, rather than agitating amongst our midst.

Therefore i support passive & peaceful manifestations of philosophies like zionism, white nationalism, islam etc.

Where i disagree with modern zionism is the fanaticism & parasitism of its antagonists (and the fact that we seem to be getting dragged into a third world war over that country), not so much the concept of autonomous jewish ethnic enclaves.

However i think northern madagascar would have been a much better site for the project than in such a powder-keg as the "holy land"
