How and to what extent should we use the terms 'Stalinism,' or 'Maoism' to describe their policies? How did they come to power? Why did their peasant revolution fail so rapidly? In what ways did they diverge from Marxism and the Bolshevised version of socialist revolution? What is Pol Potism? This is a place to discuss the history of Khmer Communism, Democratic Kampuchea, the People's Republic of Kampuchea, and the regional Great Power games of the Cold War.
