Topic. I've asked this on revleft but I want to hear straight from the horse's mouth.
And what do you all consider valuable work in the first place? Isn't the point of activism, teaching, unionizing, etc. to make small dents in the system and hope that the amalgamation of small dents and the inevitable large dents that will come at some undetermined point in time will be enough for us to achieve communism?
Admittedly I'd like to have a job that has some "utility" to it, but I keep feeling baffled at the idea of making an impact.
