I live in the Netherlands, and I really miss the salt & vinegar crisps from the other shore. At least the posh expensive brands now do have a balsamic vinegar version, which is something. A couple of years ago, they suddenly started selling a lot more flavours at supermarkets, but most of them are gone again now. I guess people didn't like them.
While we're on the subject of England, I also hate the absence of fish & chips here. There is this fish stall at the market here that supposedly sells it, but it's really just 'kibbeling', which is a Dutch snack of battered and fried cod. Under the name "fish & chips", they sell it with regular French fries and garlic sauce or mayonnaise. Heresy.
Belgian beer of all kinds is easy to get in the supermarket, but even in my favourite liquor store, the selections from England, Germany and the Czech Republic are very limited and inconsistent.
