Garrett Hardin's Essay The Tragedy of the Commons tells of how self interest and over use of resources will surely damn mankind. Hardin writes"Ruin is the destination toward which all men rush, each pursuing his own best interest in a society that believes in the freedom of the commons.". In a sense the commons could be the state, and self interest is capitalism. In a way Hardin is telling us that Capitalism will Damn mankind. Your Opinions?
It has come to my attention that RevLeft Radio really needs to be looked over and given a fresh start we need more music. So if anyone could give me info on how to contact the person in charge of it that would be great! There needs to be more music comrades more upbeat and rebellious music.

Ever since I made my political ideology known people have been like poking fun at me and i keep telling them that Socialism could work and will eventually work. This world is to materialistic, my high school is full of rich kids on one side and those who don't talk much about there life. Then theres kids who don't even care about politics...I try to enlighten them but I keep failing..what am I doing wrong?
