[Nova Mundi] The 21st Century (draft)

Posted 15th August 2012 at 01:23 by Ẋʼn

[This is an unfinished piece, written as part of what will hopefully become an article on the history of the 21st century of the Nova Mundi creative writing project. My original intention was to set the scene by writing a few short paragraphs about the facts of what happened in various parts of the world, but when the subject of Africa came up I got sidetracked into an exposition of the history of the Malagasy Nanotopia. I thought the results were worth sharing for the purposes of gathering feedback....

[NOVA MUNDI] Platform of the NeoSocialist International

Posted 27th March 2012 at 04:26 by Ẋʼn

[Author's Note: This is a fluff piece for my Nova Mundi project (check it out if you can!), basically filling out the universe and giving it a bit more background. I posted this here in the hope of getting feedback]

Mercury

Posted 21st May 2009 at 12:48 by Ẋʼn

The series continues, hopefully this one won't be as long as the previous installment. From here on we will be heading outwards from the Sun, starting with Mercury and continuing from there.

The Solar System

Posted 18th May 2009 at 06:13 by Ẋʼn

Most of the information in the following post is gleaned from the book Teach Yourself Planets, with additional information and images from other sources. Hopefully the idea behind this post is to provide an at-a-glance summary of the most pertinent information contained therein.

Local Geography

The Solar System is centred around the Sun, which is a G class star located approximately halfway from the core in the main disk of the Milky Way, which is believed to be a barred...
