In the book Raisin in The Sun I found a slight coincidence between the book and how capitalism destroys culture. In Act Two Scene One when Benetha's boyfriend George stops by to pick her up for a date to the movies he see's her dressed in traditional nigerian robes and she is dancing to nigerian music. He tells her to make her self look presentable. Take in mind that George is a wealthy African-American and that Benetha comes from a poor black family. I believe that National Socialism is the biggest contradiction The world has ever known. Not only does this ideology support the far right but it has nothing to do with socialism at all! Why is that? Hitler knew that the Communist Party of Germany would soon come to power but he didn't want that to happen so to sway the peoples minds he called his party the National "Socialist" Party. -__- Comments?
