Today, sitting at the dinner table, my girlfriend and I were reminiscing about seeing George Carlin live, something I'm glad I had the pleasure to do twice.
My son was listening rather intently, so I turned to him and said "Son, I'm sorry you never got to see George Carlin live."
He looked at me and said, in his developing two year old voice "Yeah. He gone."
Surprised, I said "Yep, he is."
To which he replied "Oh well."
I think George would have been proud. At two years old, the kid summed it up better than I can in the quarter century I've been alive.

GEORGE CARLIN WAS A BEAUTIFUL SPEAKER......PEOPLE LAUGH AT HIS POINTS BUT IN TRUTH THEY ARE VERY VERY SERIOUS.
HIS CRITICISM ON CAPITALISM IS VERY THOUGHTFUL AND FROM THE EYE OF A COMMON MAN.
