I realize I am in the minority here at RevLeft. As of yet, I have not located anyone else who is in middle school. So, the purpose of this blog is to give a new perspective on different issues from my point of view. Enjoy!

Irrational Phobias

Posted 18th June 2009 at 00:01 by Pinko Panther

Looking back at the title of this blog, I realize it's redundant. If phobias were rational, they wouldn't be phobias. Oh well.
Anyway, I've been thinking about irrational fears lately. What causes them, and why?
I'm afraid of three things:

1. Carnivals. There is something incredibly creepy about carnivals, fairs, etc. I don't know why, but I refuse to be at one after dark.

2. Dolls. Porcelain dolls, Barbie dolls, whatever. They scare me for an unknown reason. But I have heard that no one likes porcelain dolls, so maybe I'm more normal than I thought.

3. (This one makes the least sense) Have you ever been to one of those kids' science museums? Where they have giant models of human body systems (digestive, respiratory, etc.)? Those are possibly the scariest things on the face of the earth.

So those are my 3 irrational fears. Although, #3 is the worst and #2 is really not so bad. So, what are you afraid of?

Though not really afraid, I do feel uncomfortable around clowns.
